| dc.description | Making the best decisions about the strategies to follow to achieve sustainable tourism
development makes it essential to consider innovation, together with successful planning that
ensures offering unique products that allow the positioning of the destination. The stage of the
planning process where the situation of a destination at a given time is established and evaluated
is the tourism diagnosis, the starting point of the aforementioned process. To carry it out, the

| dc.description.abstract | Tomar las mejores decisiones sobre las estrategias a seguir para hacer el desarrollo turístico
sostenible, hace imprescindible considerar la innovación, unida a una acertada planificación que
asegure ofrecer productos únicos que permitan el posicionamiento del destino. La etapa del
proceso de planificación donde se establece y evalúa la situación de un destino en un momento
determinado, es el diagnóstico turístico, punto de partida del referido proceso, para realizarlo se
utiliza el inventario turístico, instrumento que garantiza determinar los recursos del destino,
precisar el estado real en que se encuentran, sus potencialidades de aprovechamiento y las
acciones a emprender para ponerlos en valor e insertarlos dentro de la actividad turística. En tal
sentido, se desarrolló el presente estudio con el objetivo de diseñar una metodología para la
actualización del inventario de recursos turísticos que contribuya a planificar una oferta que
favorezca la conversión de Guardalavaca en destino sostenible e inteligente. | es |
