dc.description | Structural modeling is the process by which the behavior of the structure is represented as
real as possible. In the city of Matanzas known as the "City of Bridges" most of these
structures do not have a model that allows us to know what their current status is. This
work presents the computational model of the Bridge of greatest step in blockade in the
city of Matanzas, specifically on the blockade highway that serves as a link with the
Central Highway. The model is conceived with all the real characteristics of the structure:
dimensions, materials used, imposed loads, sections and damages that the bridge
presents, according to the drawings and descriptive memories consulted. Once this study
is carried out, the structural modeling of the bridge is carried out and the effect of the
mobile loads on the structure is analyzed, using the SAP 2000 software, taking into
account the speed of the moving material that passes through it and the rest of the loads
acting on the structure. In the analysis of the results, it is verified that the speed does not
influence the stresses to which the structure is subjected, which in all cases were less than
the loads that the bridge can currently withstand, which guarantees that there should be
no risk of failure. . A repair of the bridge is necessary to improve its aesthetics and its
reliability since the problems of section loss and humidity that it presents are very visible.

dc.description.abstract | La Modelación estructural es el proceso mediante el cual se representa el comportamiento
de la estructura lo más real posible. En la ciudad de Matanzas conocida como la “Ciudad
de los Puentes” la mayoría de estas estructuras no cuentan con un modelo que permita
conocer cuál es el estado actual de las mismas. En este trabajo se presenta el modelo
computacional del Puente del Paso Superior de la Circunvalación de la ciudad de
Matanzas específicamente en la carretera de la Circunvalación que sirve de enlace con la
Carretera Central. El modelo está concebido con todas las características reales de la
estructura: dimensiones, materiales utilizados, cargas impuestas, secciones y daños que
presenta el puente, según los planos y memorias descriptivas consultadas. Realizado este
estudio se elabora la modelación estructural del puente y se analiza el efecto de las cargas
móviles sobre la estructura, utilizando el software SAP 2000, teniendo en cuenta la
velocidad del material móvil que por ahí transita y el resto de las cargas que actúan en la
estructura. En el análisis de los resultados los esfuerzos a los que se somete la estructura
los cuales fueron en todos los casos menores que las cargas que puede resistir el puente
actualmente lo que garantiza que no debe existir riesgo de fallo. Es necesaria una
reparación del puente para mejorar su estética y su confiabilidad ya que son muy visibles
los problemas de pérdida de sección y de humedad que presenta. | es |
